Pearl and the Pumpkin Self Titled

In 1904, W.W. Denslow, who illustrated "The Wizard of Oz" teamed up with Paul West to write "Pearl and the Pumpkin." In 1997, Daniella Freedman updated the musical with her own words and music and made it modern enough to appeal to both children and adults. The results are interesting from the historical and intellectual perspective, but also entertaining enough for kids both young and old.
